Since moving to Germany I’ve found myself translating and retranslating my favorite recipes. Eventually I started copying things over to my notes app where I could once and for all translate cups and Fahrenheit into grams and Celsius, which helped a lot. But what about when I want to share a recipe?
After my suggestions for cookies at my office Christmas cookie baking party were dismissed out of hand for using measurements nobody else understood, I decided to make this page. If I make a German translation between now and next Christmas then there will be no reason to turn me down next time! Unless they just don’t like gooey delicious chocolate chips. Or if someone has a peanut butter allergy that’s also valid.
